Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Good Feng Shui Should Have A God by Ji Wenyu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2010. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 6,963.44) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ji Wenyu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Happiness for the Children, which sold at auction in November 2007 for HKD 211,500.00 (€ 18,488.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Good Feng Shui Should Have A God von Ji Wenyu kam im Oktober 2010 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 6.963,44) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ji Wenyu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Happiness for the Children beobachtet, die im November 2007 für HKD 211.500,00 (€ 18.488,97) versteigert wurde.
