This work without title by Ji Wenyu was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2007. It achieved a price of USD 20,400.00 (€ 15,253.48), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 70%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ji Wenyu; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Happiness for the Children sold at auction in November 2007 with the realized price of HKD 211,500.00 (€ 18,488.97).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ji Wenyu kam im März 2007 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 20.400,00 (€ 15.253,48) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 70%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ji Wenyu; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Happiness for the Children im November 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 211.500,00 (€ 18.488,97).
