A top price for Jan Henrik Engström - as previously expected
In April last year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work From the series "Trying to dance", 2004 by Jan Henrik Engström. The result of SEK 12,000.00 (€ 1,161.62) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, From the series "Trying to dance", 2004 is the most expensive artwork by Jan Henrik Engström that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im April letzten Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit From the series "Trying to dance", 2004 von Jan Henrik Engström zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 12.000,00 (€ 1.161,62) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 12.000,00 – 15.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist From the series "Trying to dance", 2004 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Jan Henrik Engström, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
