Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jessie Arms Botke could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in April 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture auction, the work White Peacocks changed hands for USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,399.03) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jessie Arms Botke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flamingos and Tropical Birds in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 137,500.00 (€ 121,434.25).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jessie Arms Botke konnte im April 2015 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture wechselte die Arbeit White Peacocks für USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.399,03) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jessie Arms Botke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flamingos and Tropical Birds im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 137.500,00 (€ 121.434,25).
