Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Unknown by Jeremiah Meyer was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,520.12) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jeremiah Meyer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of A Student In The Robes Of A Westminster Scholar in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 16,100.00 (€ 20,525.22).
