This artwork by Jeremiah Meyer achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in December 2020. In the Old Master and British Works on Paper, including Portrait Miniatures from the Pohl-Ströher Collection auction, the work Portrait of a lady, called Lady Dorothy Frankland, circa 1775 sold for GBP 3,528.00 (€ 3,941.09) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Jeremiah Meyer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of A Student In The Robes Of A Westminster Scholar in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 16,100.00 (€ 20,525.22).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jeremiah Meyer erzielte im Dezember 2020 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master and British Works on Paper, including Portrait Miniatures from the Pohl-Ströher Collection wurde die Arbeit Portrait of a lady, called Lady Dorothy Frankland, circa 1775 für GBP 3.528,00 (€ 3.941,09) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jeremiah Meyer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of A Student In The Robes Of A Westminster Scholar im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.100,00 (€ 20.525,22).
