This artwork by Jeremiah Meyer achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in May 2020. In the Old Masters including Portrait Miniatures from the Pohl-Ströher Collection auction, the work Portrait Of Mrs Renton, Circa 1770 sold for GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,775.27) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Jeremiah Meyer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of A Student In The Robes Of A Westminster Scholar in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 16,100.00 (€ 20,525.22).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jeremiah Meyer erzielte im Mai 2020 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Masters including Portrait Miniatures from the Pohl-Ströher Collection wurde die Arbeit Portrait Of Mrs Renton, Circa 1770 für GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.775,27) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jeremiah Meyer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of A Student In The Robes Of A Westminster Scholar im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.100,00 (€ 20.525,22).
