This artwork by Jeremiah Meyer achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in May 2020. In the Old Masters including Portrait Miniatures from the Pohl-Ströher Collection auction, the work Portrait Of A Lady, Circa 1770 sold for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,632.01) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jeremiah Meyer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of A Student In The Robes Of A Westminster Scholar, which sold at auction in April 2008 for GBP 16,100.00 (€ 20,525.22).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jeremiah Meyer erzielte im Mai 2020 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Masters including Portrait Miniatures from the Pohl-Ströher Collection wurde die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady, Circa 1770 für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.632,01) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jeremiah Meyer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait Of A Student In The Robes Of A Westminster Scholar beobachtet, die im April 2008 für GBP 16.100,00 (€ 20.525,22) versteigert wurde.
