The result of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 5,099.43) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jeremiah Meyer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of A Student In The Robes Of A Westminster Scholar in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 16,100.00 (€ 20,525.22).

Die Arbeit Portrait Of Mrs Thomas Hayley, Née Mary Yates (1718-1774) von Jeremiah Meyer kam im April 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 5.099,43) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jeremiah Meyer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of A Student In The Robes Of A Westminster Scholar im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.100,00 (€ 20.525,22).
