Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Made in Britain, which included the work Asymmetric, Pale Blue, Lichen, Dark Olive Bleeding Bands by Jennifer Lee. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,156.31), 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jennifer Lee achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pale, Two Speckled Shadow Rings in October last year with an auction result of GBP 63,000.00 (€ 73,394.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Made in Britain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Asymmetric, Pale Blue, Lichen, Dark Olive Bleeding Bands von Jennifer Lee zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.156,31) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jennifer Lee erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pale, Two Speckled Shadow Rings im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 63.000,00 (€ 73.394,30).
