It achieved a price of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,057.53), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 41%. Admittedly, works by Jennifer Lee have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pale, Two Speckled Shadow Rings in October last year with an auction result of GBP 63,000.00 (€ 73,394.30).

Die Arbeit Spangled, Coloured Rings And Ellipse von Jennifer Lee wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion Made in Britain bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 13.057,53) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 41%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jennifer Lee auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pale, Two Speckled Shadow Rings im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 63.000,00 (€ 73.394,30).
