Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hand-Built Pot by Jennifer Lee was sold in the Made in Britain auction at Sothebys in London in September 2020. The price achieved of GBP 2,268.00 (€ 2,500.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jennifer Lee achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pale, Two Speckled Shadow Rings in October last year with an auction result of GBP 63,000.00 (€ 73,394.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Hand-Built Pot von Jennifer Lee wurde im September 2020 in der Auktion Made in Britain bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.268,00 (€ 2.500,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jennifer Lee erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pale, Two Speckled Shadow Rings im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 63.000,00 (€ 73.394,30).
