Auction result misses estimated price range
In February this year a collector was able to acquire the work Conversations I, II, III (3 works) by Jennifer Bartlett for USD 6,375.00 (€ 6,013.02). This price was achieved in the auction Prints & Multiples | Live OnlineAbstractions at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jennifer Bartlett achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Four A.M. in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 262,500.00 (€ 235,447.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Conversations I, II, III (3 works) von Jennifer Bartlett für USD 6.375,00 (€ 6.013,02) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Prints & Multiples | Live OnlineAbstractions bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jennifer Bartlett erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Four A.M. im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 262.500,00 (€ 235.447,13).
