Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled #88 (Train) by Jeff Burton was sold in the POST WAR AND CONTEMPORARY ART auction at Christies in London in April 2004. The price achieved of GBP 1,792.50 (€ 1,610.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jeff Burton - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled # 113 (Bougainvillea), which sold at auction in March 2010 for GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,332.95).

Die Arbeit Untitled #88 (Train) von Jeff Burton wurde im April 2004 in der Auktion POST WAR AND CONTEMPORARY ART bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.792,50 (€ 1.610,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden.
