In the Old Master & 19th Century Art auction, the work Vue Animée D'Un Paysage Du Portugal sold for EUR 10,400.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 5,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Pillement achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A landscape with shepherds beneath an imaginary stone arch; A landscape with travelers beneath an old wooden bridge in May last year with an auction result of USD 132,300.00 (€ 123,287.67).
