Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Paysage Fluvial Animé by Jean Pillement for EUR 780.00. This price was achieved in the auction Old Master & XIXth Century Art at Artcurial in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Pillement achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A landscape with shepherds beneath an imaginary stone arch; A landscape with travelers beneath an old wooden bridge in May last year with an auction result of USD 132,300.00 (€ 123,287.67).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Paysage Fluvial Animé von Jean Pillement für EUR 780,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master & XIXth Century Art bei Artcurial in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Pillement erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A landscape with shepherds beneath an imaginary stone arch; A landscape with travelers beneath an old wooden bridge im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 132.300,00 (€ 123.287,67).
