Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pêcheur Au Bord D'Une Rivière by Jean Pillement was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in March 2019. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,900.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Pillement achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A landscape with shepherds beneath an imaginary stone arch; A landscape with travelers beneath an old wooden bridge in May last year with an auction result of USD 132,300.00 (€ 123,287.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pêcheur Au Bord D'Une Rivière von Jean Pillement kam im März 2019 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.900,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Pillement erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A landscape with shepherds beneath an imaginary stone arch; A landscape with travelers beneath an old wooden bridge im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 132.300,00 (€ 123.287,67).
