Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tableau T.126.91 (Cypres) by Jean-Marc Bustamante was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in London in November 2019. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,935.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Marc Bustamante achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work State of grace in May this year with an auction result of EUR 40,320.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tableau T.126.91 (Cypres) von Jean-Marc Bustamante wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.935,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Marc Bustamante erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit State of grace im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.320,00.
