Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2018 Christies in New York held the auction First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Lumière by Jean-Marc Bustamante. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,455.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean-Marc Bustamante have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work State of grace in May this year with an auction result of EUR 40,320.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lumière von Jean-Marc Bustamante zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.455,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean-Marc Bustamante auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit State of grace im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.320,00.
