Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work Cypres T.123.91 by Jean-Marc Bustamante. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,935.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Marc Bustamante achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work State of grace in May this year with an auction result of EUR 40,320.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cypres T.123.91 von Jean-Marc Bustamante zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.935,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Marc Bustamante erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit State of grace im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.320,00.
