In March 2010 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Sans Titre, 1990 by Jean-Claude Farhi. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 5,904.00 48% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Jean-Claude Farhi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unique Dining Table in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 37,378.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 48 % übertroffen
Im März 2010 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre, 1990 von Jean-Claude Farhi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 5.904,00 und damit 48% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean-Claude Farhi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Unique Dining Table im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 37.378,68).
