Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2012 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Four Maya Builders; and a companion paintings by Jean Charlot. The price achieved of USD 4,750.00 (€ 3,602.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Charlot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 53,256.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2012 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Four Maya Builders; and a companion paintings von Jean Charlot zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.750,00 (€ 3.602,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Charlot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 53.256,96).
