In December 2013 Christies in New York held the auction Interiors, which included the work Tortilla Makers by Jean Charlot. The »bidding war« ended at USD 6,875.00 (€ 4,989.48), 38% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Charlot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 53,256.96).

Im Dezember 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tortilla Makers von Jean Charlot zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 6.875,00 (€ 4.989,48) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Charlot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 53.256,96).
