Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Autumn Landscape (Lake George) by Jasper Francis Cropsey was sold in the American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2019. Here, the upper estimate of USD 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 27,500.00 (€ 25,217.79). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jasper Francis Cropsey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Indian Summer On The Susquehanna in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 432,500.00 (€ 384,923.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Autumn Landscape (Lake George) von Jasper Francis Cropsey wurde im September 2019 in der Auktion American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 27.500,00 (€ 25.217,79) einen neuen Besitzer.
