It achieved a price of USD 121,150.00 (€ 111,065.27), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 73%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jasper Francis Cropsey - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Indian Summer On The Susquehanna, which sold at auction in May 2017 for USD 432,500.00 (€ 384,923.46).
