Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 18,750.00 (€ 17,193.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jasper Francis Cropsey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Indian Summer On The Susquehanna in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 432,500.00 (€ 384,923.46).
