Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jaromír Funke could be acquired at Christies in New York in February 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern Visions: Exceptional Photographs auction, the work Still Life, c. 1923 changed hands for USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,801.99) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jaromír Funke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition (From 'Abstraktnĺ Foto') in April 2011 with an auction result of USD 350,500.00 (€ 236,488.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jaromír Funke konnte im Februar 2016 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern Visions: Exceptional Photographs wechselte die Arbeit Still Life, c. 1923 für USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.801,99) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jaromír Funke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition (From 'Abstraktnĺ Foto') im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 350.500,00 (€ 236.488,77).
