In October 2017 Christies in New York held the auction Photographs Including Property from the Museum of Modern Art, which included the work Still Life, 1924 by Jaromír Funke. The »bidding war« ended at USD 23,750.00 (€ 20,389.77), 32% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jaromír Funke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition (From 'Abstraktnĺ Foto') in April 2011 with an auction result of USD 350,500.00 (€ 236,488.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 32 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2017 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Photographs Including Property from the Museum of Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life, 1924 von Jaromír Funke zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 23.750,00 (€ 20.389,77) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jaromír Funke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition (From 'Abstraktnĺ Foto') im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 350.500,00 (€ 236.488,77).
