Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work On the Lagoon, Venice by Jane Peterson was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in March last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 15,300.00 (€ 13,792.48). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jane Peterson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gloucester Harbor--Late Afternoon in November 2006 with an auction result of USD 520,000.00 (€ 392,127.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit On the Lagoon, Venice von Jane Peterson kam im März letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 15.300,00 (€ 13.792,48) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jane Peterson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gloucester Harbor--Late Afternoon im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 520.000,00 (€ 392.127,29).
