This artwork by Jane Peterson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in March last year. In the The Collection of Gail Feingarten Oppenheimer auction, the work Beach Scene with Yellow and Orange Sail sold for USD 16,562.50 (€ 14,930.59) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jane Peterson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gloucester Harbor--Late Afternoon in November 2006 with an auction result of USD 520,000.00 (€ 392,127.29).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jane Peterson erzielte im März letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis.
