The work Jane Peterson (American, 1876-1965) by Jane Peterson was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in September this year. The price achieved of USD 12,800.00 (€ 12,093.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jane Peterson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gloucester Harbor--Late Afternoon in November 2006 with an auction result of USD 520,000.00 (€ 392,127.29).
