Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bouquet of Flowers by Jane Peterson was sold in the An American Summer auction at Sothebys in New York in July 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,820.00 (€ 7,434.25). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jane Peterson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gloucester Harbor--Late Afternoon in November 2006 with an auction result of USD 520,000.00 (€ 392,127.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bouquet of Flowers von Jane Peterson wurde im Juli 2021 in der Auktion An American Summer bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.820,00 (€ 7.434,25) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jane Peterson erzielen.
