Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2011 Phillips in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Two works: (i) Long Island; (ii) Bat Woman by Janaina Tschäpe. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,889.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Janaina Tschäpe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Square Soap Bubbles in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 76,926.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2011 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two works: (i) Long Island; (ii) Bat Woman von Janaina Tschäpe zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.889,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Janaina Tschäpe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Square Soap Bubbles im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 76.926,72).
