Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jan Wyck; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot View Of Sprotborough Hall, Near Doncaster, Yorkshire, With Cattle And Herdsman On The Banks Of The River Don Before sold at auction in June 2002 with the realized price of GBP 45,410.00 (€ 70,238.99).
