The result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,537.43) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jan Wyck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View Of Sprotborough Hall, Near Doncaster, Yorkshire, With Cattle And Herdsman On The Banks Of The River Don Before in June 2002 with an auction result of GBP 45,410.00 (€ 70,238.99).
