Despite a disappointment, a good price for Jan Vrolijk
In April 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Dutch Early Morning by Jan Vrolijk for EUR 6,850.00. This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century Paintings at Sothebys in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 7,000.00 – 9,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Dutch Early Morning is the most expensive artwork by Jan Vrolijk that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Jan Vrolijk
Im April 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Dutch Early Morning von Jan Vrolijk für EUR 6.850,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century Paintings bei Sothebys in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist Dutch Early Morning das teuerste Kunstwerk von Jan Vrolijk, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
