Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cows In A Meadow by Jan Vrolijk was sold in the Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in September 2007. The price achieved of EUR 2,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Vrolijk - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dutch Early Morning, which sold at auction in April 2008 for EUR 6,850.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cows In A Meadow von Jan Vrolijk wurde im September 2007 in der Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Vrolijk mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dutch Early Morning beobachtet, die im April 2008 für EUR 6.850,00 versteigert wurde.
