Auction result well in line with expectations
The work In de schaduw: resting under a tree by Jan Vrolijk was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in February 2004. The price achieved of EUR 956.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Jan Vrolijk have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch Early Morning in April 2008 with an auction result of EUR 6,850.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit In de schaduw: resting under a tree von Jan Vrolijk kam im Februar 2004 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 956,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan Vrolijk auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch Early Morning im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.850,00.
