However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Vrolijk - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dutch Early Morning, which sold at auction in April 2008 for EUR 6,850.00.

Die Arbeit Cows At Pasture von Jan Vrolijk kam im März 2007 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 2.160,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 44 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Vrolijk mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dutch Early Morning beobachtet, die im April 2008 für EUR 6.850,00 versteigert wurde.
