Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Two Landscape Sketches: A River Landscape; A Landscape With A Ruined Castle by Jan van de Velde II for GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,782.32). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master and British Works on Paper Including drawings from the Oppé Collection at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan van de Velde II achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Village On A Broad River With Two Horseman At A Gateway To The Left; And An Abbey By A River With A Group of Monks On A Track in July 2005 with an auction result of GBP 355,200.00 (€ 515,214.25).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Two Landscape Sketches: A River Landscape; A Landscape With A Ruined Castle von Jan van de Velde II für GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.782,32) erwerben. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Village On A Broad River With Two Horseman At A Gateway To The Left; And An Abbey By A River With A Group of Monks On A Track im Juli 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 355.200,00 (€ 515.214,25).
