Auction result well in line with expectations

Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan van de Velde II achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Village On A Broad River With Two Horseman At A Gateway To The Left; And An Abbey By A River With A Group of Monks On A Track in July 2005 with an auction result of GBP 355,200.00 (€ 515,214.25).
