Upper estimate price exceeded by 37 %.
The work Park with figures in the wind by Jan Toorop was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in March last year. It achieved a price of EUR 8,190.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 37 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Toorop achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portret van mevrouw M.J. de Lange - Portrait of Mrs M.J. de Lange in November 2005 with an auction result of EUR 818,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 37 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Park with figures in the wind von Jan Toorop kam im März letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 8.190,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 37 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Toorop erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portret van mevrouw M.J. de Lange - Portrait of Mrs M.J. de Lange im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 818.400,00.
