Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work "Torn 5", 1990 by Jan Svenungsson. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 42,000.00 (€ 4,096.93) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Jan Svenungsson have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2020 the work "Torn 4", 1991 was auctioned for SEK 65,000.00 (€ 6,354.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Torn 5", 1990 von Jan Svenungsson zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 42.000,00 (€ 4.096,93) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Jan Svenungsson konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2020 die Arbeit "Torn 4", 1991 für SEK 65.000,00 (€ 6.354,20) versteigert.
