Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Jan Roeland was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,125.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Roeland - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tafel III, which sold at auction in December 2006 for EUR 9,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jan Roeland kam im November 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.125,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Roeland mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tafel III beobachtet, die im Dezember 2006 für EUR 9.600,00 versteigert wurde.
