Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Bomen (Trees) by Jan Roeland for EUR 2,750.00. This price was achieved in the auction Nineteen to Now, incl. Topographical Observations at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Roeland - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tafel III, which sold at auction in December 2006 for EUR 9,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Bomen (Trees) von Jan Roeland für EUR 2.750,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Nineteen to Now, incl. Topographical Observations bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Roeland mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tafel III beobachtet, die im Dezember 2006 für EUR 9.600,00 versteigert wurde.
