Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Slovak Village-Turi Pole by Jan Matulka was auctioned at Christies in New York in August 2020. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,283.51) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Matulka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work New York Harbor & Paris: A Double Sided Work in December 2020 with an auction result of USD 201,600.00 (€ 164,840.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Slovak Village-Turi Pole von Jan Matulka kam im August 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.283,51) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Matulka erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit New York Harbor & Paris: A Double Sided Work im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 201.600,00 (€ 164.840,56).
