The work Figure no. 139 by Jan Lebenstein was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in December 2021. It achieved a price of USD 27,812.50 (€ 24,573.69), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 55%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Lebenstein - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Figure Xviii, which sold at auction in June 2021 for EUR 87,500.00.

Die Arbeit Figure no. 139 von Jan Lebenstein kam im Dezember 2021 bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 27.812,50 (€ 24.573,69) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 55%. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Lebenstein mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Figure Xviii beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für EUR 87.500,00 versteigert wurde.
