Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work 'Skogsaltare I och II' by Jan Hafström was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 12,000.00 – 15,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 10,000.00 (€ 846.90). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Hafström achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Den eviga återkomsten" (The eternal return) in May 2011 with an auction result of SEK 4,000,000.00 (€ 450,194.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit 'Skogsaltare I och II' von Jan Hafström im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 12.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 10.000,00 (€ 846,90) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Hafström erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Den eviga återkomsten" (The eternal return) im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 4.000.000,00 (€ 450.194,77).
