Auction result misses estimated price range
In June this year a collector was able to acquire the work 'Walker's Escape' by Jan Hafström for SEK 170,000.00 (€ 14,431.32). This price was achieved in the auction Important Spring Sale at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 200,000.00 – 250,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Hafström achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Den eviga återkomsten" (The eternal return) in May 2011 with an auction result of SEK 4,000,000.00 (€ 450,194.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit 'Walker's Escape' von Jan Hafström für SEK 170.000,00 (€ 14.431,32) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Important Spring Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 200.000,00 – 250.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Hafström erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Den eviga återkomsten" (The eternal return) im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 4.000.000,00 (€ 450.194,77).
