Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Fossil skog" by Jan Hafström was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in September this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 6,000.00 (€ 520.41). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Hafström achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Den eviga återkomsten" (The eternal return) in May 2011 with an auction result of SEK 4,000,000.00 (€ 450,194.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Fossil skog" von Jan Hafström im September diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 6.000,00 (€ 520,41) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Hafström erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Den eviga återkomsten" (The eternal return) im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 4.000.000,00 (€ 450.194,77).
